General
An Ocean Drum is a frame drum with a sheet on both sides. On the inside are metal beads. Ocean Drums like these are fun to use as sound effects for when you want to record soundscapes, for example. In addition, they are very soothing to play. You hold the drum horizontally and adjust the angle slightly each time. This makes the metal beads roll over the sheet and creates the sound of the sea. It's great fun to experiment with different types of waves you can imitate with this ocean drum.
Remo Green & Clean
It is also an ideal instrument for sound therapy and music therapy. In fact - Remo's Green & Clean instruments are made especially for this purpose! They are also easy to clean with disinfectant spray. The design and materials have been specially adapted for this purpose. Ideal for hospitals, music therapists and sound therapists. This Ocean Drum has a diameter of 16 inches and is 2.5 inches thick.
