General
It's amazing how versatile some percussion instruments are. Take this Sela Ocean Drum, on the face of it you'd say it's a frame drum. However, this instrument has two membranes, with grains on the inside. So you can hit it with your flat hand, but you can also make subtle movements with it. The grains move, generating the kind of soothing noise you know from the sea and surf. Musically very nice, and for meditation a very interesting one!
