General
The Sela Rain Maker Majesty (52cm, 6min) brings the soothing sound of a rain shower into your space. This traditional instrument from the Atacama region was originally used by the Diaguitas in rituals to summon rain. Nowadays, it is an indispensable sound effect in sound therapy, meditation sessions and, for example, in studios or theatres. The Rain Maker is crafted from high-quality steamed beech wood, which ensures extra durability and a warm appearance. Measuring 52 centimetres in length and producing a continuous rain sound lasting up to six minutes – depending on how you move it – it delivers a realistic experience every time, ranging from a gentle drizzle to a heavy downpour. Rounded, polished edges and a soft cork layer at both ends provide extra comfort and protection, both for your hands and for the wood itself.
