Drummers, percussionists, keyboard players, singers and wind instrument players often have little need for a wireless in-ear system and the hefty price tag that comes with them so a wired system might be the better option. The advantages of the Hard-Wired In-Ear Monitor Body Pack
The most obvious benefit of this system is, of course, its price, as you don't have to invest in a costly receiver and transmitter. Also, the sound of a wired system is often much better than that of a wireless system and since you're wired up anyway, you can power this system via a DC power supply if the battery runs out.
Rugged construction
The Hard-Wired In-Ear Monitor Body Pack has a rugged aluminium housing and a holder of stainless steel. Your in-ear is connected via a mini jack and the audio signal enters via two balanced XLR inputs, which have a switch-over from stereo to mono mix mode. Additionally, it features two knobs: one for volume and one for pan/mix balance.
