A compatible replacement for any standard J-style bass, this deluxe four-ply pickguard has a solid feel and comes in a chic pearl white finish. The Boston JB-410-PW pickguard is mounted via eleven pre-drilled screw holes, includes two extra screw holes plus routing for the pickup, and while it comes at a great price, it serves as a sweet little upgrade, sprucing up the look of your instrument.

Wrote the following about Boston JB-410-PW 4-Ply Pickguard for Jazz-Style Bass (Pearl White)

Aangeschaft om de vergeelde slagplaat van mijn Fender J Bass te vervangen.
Zoals gebruikelijk snelle levering en aantrekkelijke prijs.
Echter de pasvorm laat te wensen over. Grote spleet tussen slagplaat en knoppenpaneel, asymmetrisch t.ov. van de body aan de onderkant, schroefgaten die er net naast zitten, ook na mijn aanpassingen aan de vorm. Na een paar uurtjes frezen, schuren passen, nog meer frezen, passen en boren een acceptabel resultaat verkregen.
Niet echt geschikt voor iemand zonder knutselvaardigheden en wat passend gereedschap.
Uiteindelijk is mijn bas er wel van opgeknapt, maar niet zonder ingrijpende aanpassingen.
