General
Neatly slot the Hotone Octa octaver pedal into your effects chain and shift the pitch of your sound by a full octave up or down. Mix it in with your original signal and inject passages with more power and body. However you use it, the effect packs punch, and as with most modulation effects, less is often more. This is might be why many guitarists and bassists in need of a more compact setup tend to leave their hefty octaver at home - something you'll never have to do with the Hotone Skyline Octa since it's so tiny. While it'll slot neatly into the wee corner of any pedalboard, this octaver still manages to offer everything you'd ever expect of a modern stompbox.
The Two-Mode Hotone Octa: Normal & Dirty
Since the Hotone Octa boasts a fully digital circuit, it also boasts insanely accurate signal tracking. Set it to Normal, polyphonic mode, and each note of a full chord can be pitch shifted and knitted with your original tone for a massive sound. In Dirty mode, the Octa mimics the response of a more classic analogue octaver, where the tracking is purposely less precise, adding a sweet touch of growling, analogue charm.
Hotone Skyline Pedals
The trend for more compact and pedalboard-friendly stompboxes has stuck around for a while now, and the Hotone Skyline Series forms a distinguished part of the mini-stompbox revolution. Despite the modest, stripped-down format, the face of each pedal still comes planted with large, tactile controls, while the most-used pot has been shifted to the back to save space. These large controls set you up with the same wide tweaking range and ease of use as you'd get with a pedal three-times its size, while the uber-compact size is as convenient as it gets, and the true-bypass design ensures clean and reliable performance.
