A solid three-in-one solve for any pedalboard, the Hotone Soul Press II can serve as a wah pedal, a volume pedal or even an expression pedal. Since the second-edition of the Soul Press features an extra mode that blends the wah and volume, you're actually looking at a four-in-one smasher. In wah-mode, the 'Q' pot grants full control over the effect intensity and the tone switch toggles the output from warm to classic and, as well as a jack input, this Hotone offering comes fitted with a separate output jack, an expression output jack and even a handy tuner output jack. Meanwhile, the improved housing design is a touch wider than the original Soul Press, so the non-slip surface of the footplate is a touch bigger, offering better grip and improved control.
