The Dugain Ebony Mini Dug is the smaller version of Dugain's standard ebony plectrum. It features comfort-enhancing recesses for the thumb and index finger and fully supports more subtle or delicate parts, whether playing jazz, classical styles or mandolin music.

Que je joue en acoustique ou en électrique, je suis très sensible au son des médiators.
Je suis donc un grand fan des Dugain. J'en ai tout une collection et je me plais à changer de médiator fréquemment pour apprécier les sons que produisent les différents matériaux. Il ne me manquait que celui-ci.
Le mini dug n'est pas si petit que ça, en fait, plus grand que les jazz de Dunlop auxquels je ne me fait pas. Il est plus "sensitif" que les normaux . Moins creusé aussi d'ou une prise un peu moins confortable.
Par contre, je retrouve la même élégance dans le son que mes médiateurs en palissandre, bois de violette ou ébène. Je reconnais qu'ils sont trop chers et qu'ils s'usent vite.
Mais pour moi, les Dugains dans ces bois-là sont irremplaçables. A essayer si vous ne connaissez pas.
