Garden party? Office anniversary? Small-scale sporting event? Or just a good-old slumber party in the student dorm anyway? Chances are you'll want some vorn of party music to go with it. And that's when we can spotlight this Soundboks Mix. It is a mobile battery speaker that meets the IP65 standard. Specifically, this means that this speaker can also be used outdoors. There is a 3.5 mm jack input on it, but the more logical choice will be Bluetooth streaming, then you can also be more mobile with the speaker.
The speaker itself is quite something: a thick ten-inch woofer handles the bass while a 1.2-inch tweeter takes care of the highs. As a battery speaker, this Soundboks serves 8 hours at maximum volume (and that's a cosy 121 dB SPL), and an impressive 40 hours at medium volume. Those are durations that are more than enough for a party. Is the Soundboks the only battery speaker on the market? No, of course not, but if we look at the various features such speakers have, this SoundBoks ticks a lot of positive boxes. In terms of loudness, duration of use, weight (less than ten kilos!) and certainly in relation to the price. Putting it all together, it is perhaps the best IP65 battery speaker currently available!
