The REMAD R4 from Evans is a port hole protector for the microphone hole in your bass drum. This ring reinforces the edge of the hole in the drumhead and prevents your microphone or a cable from ripping into the hole. It also gives you more control over your overtones, so pitch, focus and attack can improve. With a 4-inch diameter, this protector is suitable for most sizes of bass drums. Includes a foam ring that you can apply or remove for extra control over the sound.
