Have you ever seen the black ring of a bass reflex speaker? The KickPort by Kickport is based on the same simple yet revolutionary innovation, but the principle has been adjusted for your bass drum. The KickPort gives your low-range frequencies an additional boost. It also dampens the resonant head, so there is no need to place additional dampening materials inside the bass drum.
Installation and technology
The KickPort is easy to install. Simply cut a 5 tot 5.5-inch hole in your drumhead and use the KickPort to neatly seal it. The KickPort ensures that additional compression is built up during a kick, resulting in a harder punch and an improved head response. The KickPort can be tuned and used again if you replace your drumhead.
