The tech 21 Para Driver DI is the pedal version of the mountable RPM. It also offers a wide array of features (including sweepable mid) to shape every audio source imaginable. The sound of an acoustic or electric guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, keyboard, violin, percussion, saxophone, and even voice is reproduced in a warm, authentic way, as if it were being amplified through a microphone and a tube amp.

The ins and outs of the Tech 21 ParaDriver DI

Hook up your instrument via the jack input and direct the sound to your mixing console using the XLR output. Use the line output to transfer the signal to an amplifier, if desired. If you want to use the ParaDriver as a pure preamp without any tone colouration, connect to the effect-return on your amp. The ParaDriver is also equipped with a parallel output that allows the direct signal to exit untouched.

Tips or comments about this product

In addition to a battery or a PSU, you can also use a phantom power supply (from your mixer, for instance) to power this pedal. 24V DC is required, 48V DC is recommended (to power the LED indicator)
In case you use an adapter, please make sure it has a centre negative 2.1mm connector and produces a minimum of 100mA. It can be either regulated or unregulated.
