ART Tube MP USB Project Series tube preamp

Ik heb de ART TUB MP USB gekocht als voorversterker tussen mijn electrische gitaar en keyboardversterker Behringer K450FX. De ART Tube werkt met een buis. Dit was voor mij de belangrijkste reden om voor deze voorversterker te kiezen. De buis kleurt het geluid op een mooie manier. Daar ben ik blij meer. Wel vind ik dat de ART weinig bas levert. Dit kan ik gelukkig op de versterker bijregelen.

De ART heeft ook een usb-uitgang. Hiermee kun je het signaal naar je pc sturen (niet andersom, het is éénrichtingsverkeer). De ART werd op mijn pc (Linux: Peppermint OS gebaseerd op Ubuntu) direct herkend. Wel moest ik in de instellingen eerste de juiste instelling selecteren ( digital audio-input) aanvinken maar daarna kon ik aan de slag met Guitarix en Rakarrack.
De ArT werkt dus zonder problemen met linux!!!
