General

The ST9 Personal Studio by Yamaha is a preamplifier for the Silent Brass system. If you already own a Silent Brass mute, you can use this to complete your system! 
This is a small amplifier--tiny enough to fit in your inside or trouser pocket. It produces a clear sound and is ideal for the Silent Brass system. It comes complete with a volume knob, an echo switch, a stereo headphone input, and an AUX input. You can use it to connect an MP3 or CD player to the ST9 so you can play along with your favourite music. It's also ideal for rehearsals. Additionally, it has a jack input for connecting the mute from the Silent Brass system or a microphone.
