General

It's fair to say that Eurorack fans are not only knowledgeable sound-designers, but they also kind of like all the blingbling that comes with Eurorack. This is all about the forest of buttons, patch holes, the whole idea of being in some kind of cockpit. It captures the imagination, childhood sentiment, 'gear for the mancave'. But then, the patch cables are often just cables. Now, if you really want to do it right in terms of blingbling, the MyVolts Candycords are a nice investment. They are cables equipped with LED lights, and they indicate positive or negative signals. The cables were co-developed with Andrew Huang. Da's really one of those synth/Eurorack characters you might know from YouTube. Of course, these luxury blingbling cables will be a bit pricier than very cheap patch cables. But when you consider what an entire Eurorack system costs.... and also remember that you will be looking at it every day. In the end, an LED cable like this is very decadent, but very impressive. And: you only live once!
