These AIAIAI TMA-1 Stones Throw Edition headphones are a special edition of the popular TMA-1 DJ headphones. They are the result of a collaboration between AIAIAI and the legendary record label Stones Throw Records. Based in Los Angeles, California and founded by Peanut Butter Wolf, the independent record label is renowned for its progressive, innovative direction and has released records by acclaimed artists such as J Dilla, Madlib, Mayer Hawthorne and Aloe Blacc. Stones Throw Records has lent its house style to these AIAIAI headphones, which have the label's logo embossed on the earpieces. Just like the regular TMA-1s, the TMA-1 Stones Throw Edition headphones have a lightweight design, weighing only 190 grams.
TMA-1 Stones Throw: sound and comfort
The AIAIAI headphones are great for DJing, but they also go well with your smartphone or MP3 player for casual listening. No matter where or when you're using these TMA-1 Stones Throw headphones, their 40mm titanium drivers deliver a delectably transparent sound with rich bass tones. The TMA-1s have a comfortable headband with a soft interior in stylish purple, and their earpieces can be easily adjusted. The headphones are supplied with two sets of ear pads, offering you the choice between a regular pair and a sound-isolating pair. Changing the ear pads takes no effort at all.
Two cords
The AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones comes with two purple cords and a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter. The first cord is 1.2 metres long and equipped with a microphone and a 3-button remote - ideal for use with a smartphone. You can also choose to use the included 1.5-metre coiled cord, though, which does not have a mic. Both cords are fitted with a right-angle 3.5mm plug on one end and a lockable plug on the other, ensuring a secure connection.
