The Apple Mini DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter makes it easy to connect a MacBook to a 30-inch screen so you can enjoy an optimal screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It's possible to use the screen either synchronously or as a screen extension so you can work with an external screen while you have other windows open on your MacBook. Of course, using it synchronously is great for presentations, as you can work behind your computer while your audience watches on the second screen.
