General

Crest Audio's CPX series has several practical features, which include a GCL limiter to counter distortion, a built-in crossover for a subwoofer, and a low-cut filter. You can push a CPX amplifier to the brink and beyond, without loss of tonal quality. The CPX 1500 amplifier produces 2x 300 watts at 8 ohms and 2x 500 watts per channel at 4 ohms. It is a high-quality amplifier such as we've come to expect from Crest Audio.

Producing 2x 500 watts per channel (at 4 ohms), the CPX 1500 is a good amplifier for smaller sound sets at occasions that require high-quality sound.

Wrote the following about Crest CPX 1500 amplifier

Deze versterker is gelijk aan de Peavey PV 1500.
Een degelijke versterker die zijn werk al jaren geweldig doet zonder enig probleem.

Versterker is ooit gevallen van 1 meter hoog. Behuizing licht beschadigd, maar intern werkt het nog perfect! Prijs ietswat aan de hoge kant, maar voor kwaliteit betaal je natuurlijk meer!

Genoeg aansluitmogelijkheden met natuurlijk speakon. De ingebouwde limiter is zeker handig, zeker als er mensen met niet genoeg verstand het signaal kunnen besturen. Voor verhuur is het dus ook een prima versterker.

Geluidskwaliteit ook goed, geen plop te horen bij aanzetten of uitzetten door de speakers.

Al met al een goede keuze als je een versterker zoekt die kwalitatief goed moet zijn!
