The independent filters of the Bi-Filter

The Electro Harmonix Bi Filter owes its name to its two independently operating LFO/envelope filters. Each channel has a separate output, but there’s also an output for a mixed signal. The two signals react either individually or interactively. As a result, your options are endless, particularly if you take into account that the smooth sound of an analogue circuit is much less predictable than that of a digital circuit.

Settings and connectors

The front of the Bi-Filter is equipped with faders for parameters such as envelope attack, drive and decay, filter frequency, sweep oscillation and Q, as well as a low-pass/band-pass/high-pass switch. The large number of inputs and outputs increases the versatility of this audio tool even more. The EHX Bi Filter features effect send/return, inputs for a foot switch, special inputs for a Control Voltage (CV) expression pedal, and CV outputs.
