Electro Harmonix Nano POG Polyphonic Octave Generator

General

The Electro Harmonix Nano POG is a polyphonic octave generator that duplicates each single tone either an octave higher or lower than the original. A C, for instance, remains a C, but sounds an octave higher or lower, resulting in a full-bodied, harmonious sound. The pedal is capable of processing single notes as well as entire chords, allowing you to produce beautiful harmonies. Using just a single guitar and this pedal, you can create the illusion of several guitarists playing at the same time.

Perfect tracking

Taking a dry signal one octave up or down is called tracking. Naturally, the tracking speed and accuracy of an octaver pedal are essential for its overall quality. If the tracking lags, or if the dry signal is not precisely converted, you end up with a cacophony of sound. Fortunately, the Nano Pog features a completely redesigned algorithm that ensures flawless tracking - no matter what note you play, the wet signal always comes out one perfect octave higher or lower, without exceptions. Even chords are no problem for this feisty little POG.

The controls and size of the pedal

Controlling the EHX Nano POG is easy: the Dry, Sub Octave and Octave Up knobs are all self-explanatory. An extra output for the dry signal is a particularly practical addition. Like all Electro Harmonix Nano pedals, this Pog has a conveniently compact size, so you'll always be able to find a place for it on your pedalboard. If you're looking for a compact octaver pedal that offers faultless tracking, the Electro Harmonix Nano POG is certainly worth your consideration.
