Thought things couldn't get any smaller than the Micro POG and Nano POG? Well, think again! Electro Harmonix just released the extremely compact Pico POG Polyphonic Octave Generator. No matter how packed your pedalboard is, you're definitely going to want to carve out a little spot for the smallest POG in the line-up. This plucky red stompbox is exceptionally powerful, boasts ultra-tight tracking and supports a fast playing feel.
The Pico POG: Extensively Tweakable
Despite its seriously space-saving design, the Electro Harmonix Pico POG comes outfitted with four pots, giving you extensive control over the sound. The Sub Octave pot determines the low-end for the lower octave, while the Octave Up control dials in the intensity, sparkle and bite of the higher octave. Meanwhile, the Dry and Tone pots control the balance and character of the overall sound.

Version améliorée de la POG nano et micro, cette nouvelle mouture encore plus petite dispose d'un potard de tonalité qui agit selon 3 positions accessibles via un petit switch : potard Tone classique, coupe-bas et coupe-haut.
Pour bien connaître la POG nano (utilisée sur guitare), c'est indéniablement un plus pour atténuer certaines fréquences, surtout en live. Le tracking est parfait comme avec la Nano. Il me semble que le niveau de sortie est un poil plus élevé que sur la nano.
Le prix pourrait cependant être plus serré si EHX arrêtait de fournir une alimentation 9v classique avec ses pédales. Pas franchement nécessaire.
