General

To put it boldly, the Pitch Fork+ from Electro Harmonix is twice as powerful as its bite-sized predecessor and has two independent pitch-shift engines to give you all the functionality and tight tracking of the original Pitch Fork. While both engines can be accurately controlled using the fitted switches and knobs, ultimate control over the parameters can be achieved by plugging a matching footswitch like the Triple Foot Controller into the EXP input.

The Pitch Fork+: Master The Pitch

Next to ten factory presets, you can save and quickly recall up to 100 user-made presets while, for smooth operation, different pedal functions can be assigned to an optional footswitch. Also, it's definitely worth experimenting with the latch and momentary settings of the bypass switch, and just like with the previous Pitch Fork, you can still detune both sides by up to 99 cents. Based on the bypass pitch, the Pitch Fork Plus can shift three octaves up or down, and blows the range of available tonal options wide open when you press the X-MOD button to activate the Ring Mod or unleash various FM sound effects.

Trop cher pour sa seule fonction pitcher, mais la seule pédale que j'ai pu trouver qui detune "proprement" à la fois en up et down sur plusieurs 1/2 tons (je m'en sers à la basse).
Firmware 1.09 lors de l'achat, impossible à mettre à jour sans renvoyer la pédale chez EHX ; dommage !!!

La Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork+ Polyphonic Pitch Shifter est assez incroyable. Sa polyvalence et sa versatilité en font un effet complet aux possibilités énormes. Pour avoir eu une Whammy, elle fait le même travail mais avec beaucoup plus de fonctions et de paramétrages. Ajoutez lui une pédale d'expression/volume et vous pouvez obtenir des effets Detune, polyphoniques, modulations, dive Bomb... en mélangeant plus ou moins le signal pour un dry ou wet plus ou moins prononcé.
Les 10 presets paramétrables par l’utilisateur sont également un atout considérable et laisse l'embarras du choix quant aux possibilités. Chaque signal/effet est réglable indépendamment des autres. Bref je ne regrette pas mon achat car l'effet est moins encombrant et plus complet qu'une Whammy DT. Je pense même que la transparence du signal est plus respectée qu'avec une Digitech. Une fois branchée, qu'elle soit en On ou en Bypass, le son de la guitare n'est pas modifié et garde ses harmoniques sans perte de basses ou d'aigus.
