The Digitech Whammy DT doesn't just set you up with one, but three legendary pitch shifters packed into a single, solid and iconic housing. Kick the Whammy footswitch and nudge the fitted expression pedal to treat yourself to this classic pedal's namesake, and do it all in one of ten different pitch-shifting ranges; add one of the nine harmonizing options; and select one of two intervals.

The Whammy DT: Detune, Drop & Shift Up

Of course, you still have full rein over the renowned Shallow and Deep detuning options to shape chorus-style sound, but this is definitely not everything that the DT-edition has to offer. Hit the Droptune switch and immediately apply a virtual alternative drop-tuning to your guitar. Besides the seven semitones, seven octaves and octaver of the popular Drop, you're also granted access to the same options by the Shift Up function - just in reverse - so you can raise the pitch rather than lower it.

But wait! There's more! The third and final Momentary footswitch activates the function of the Drop and Shift Up sections, but only for as long as you can bear hold it down, so you can weave pitch-warped riffs at will and in real-time. On top of that, you can switch the circuit to true-bypass or DSP bypass, where true-bypass retains the clean and original signal of your guitar when the DT is inactive, and DSP bypass ensures slick and smooth transitions when harnessing the Momentary function. To finish, and if you prefer your controls to be entirely hands free, then couple this pitch-based overlord with the Digitech FS3X external footswitch (not included).
