General
This Special Edition '62 Telecaster Bound with a Cherry finish is an exact replica of the Telecasters made in the USA in 1962, with some modern flourishes added, of course. It has a maple neck with a C profile and a fretboard made of rosewood. Its body, meanwhile, is made of alder and features white bindings that give it a luxury feel to match its excellent construction quality. This Japan-made guitar is astonishingly vintage-correct. Everything from the shape of the logo to the routing inside the body is absolutely true to the original. As such, its sounds almost identical to those guitars that were made in the USA in '62.
Fender Japan Special Edition '62 Telecaster Bound Cherry
A big part of that sound is determined by the pickups used on this Japanese Fender SE '62 Telecaster. It's equipped with two Vintage-Style Tele single-coils - one at the neck and one at the bridge. Furthermore, this guitar features the usual 3-way pickup switch and single tone and volume knobs. The cherry-red Telecaster is a limited edition model, so only a few of them will be made available. Many of them don't even cross the Japanese border. Luckily, Bax-shop has managed to procure a few of them for you, so be sure to act quickly!
Fender Japan guitars
Japanese Fenders, in this case made by the Dyna Gakki factory, are high-end instruments that were never meant to travel abroad. These hand-built guitars were made for the Japanese market only, yet are highly coveted all over the world for their combination of vintage design, modern innovation and high-quality finish. They offer the same build quality as the professional Fender American Standard models at a very reasonable price.
