JBL went to town on their EON series. Thanks to the light weight of these speakers (under 16 kilos) they are perfect for numerous mobile setups. The 315 is equipped with a 15-inch woofer that pumps out an impressive bass. Together with the trebles, this speaker offers a maximum SPL of 127 dB. JBL’s 315 features built in M10 rigging points and a 36mm pole mount socket, allowing you to fly or put it on a stand in several different ways. The housing is made of sturdy copolymer and dons a tough grill that properly protects the woofer and tweeter.

class D amplifier

JBL fitted this speaker with a class-D amplifier - a type of amp that is very efficient and light of weight. What’s more, extended playing at high volumes is no problem at all for this speaker. If the 315 doesn’t produce enough bass for your taste or purpose, we recommend you purchase the JBL EON 518s active subwoofer to create a 3-way system that’ll blow books off a shelf!
