General
MuseBox is the result of the joint efforts of Peavey and Muse Research. It is a powerful synthesizer, sampler and effect processor module, unlike any you've ever seen before. This little blue box runs on Linux-based operating software and has a VST plugin called Duo Host, which allows you to summon two of your favourite VSTs with virtually no latency. What's more, the Soundfinder preset structure of the MuseBox makes it easy to find the perfect patch, as your sounds are organised by type rather than by plugin.
MuseBox: highly versatile for live and studio applications
Connect your keyboard or controller to the MuseBox and use a plethora of amazing VST plug-in sounds, both in the studio or on stage. There's nothing special about the use of plugins in the studio, but using them live on stage is something completely different. Thanks to the MuseBox, you can bring your favourite virtual instrument plugins on stage in a compact, user-friendly and affordable module. Additionally, MuseBox can do a lot more than host keyboard instruments. It is great for MIDI drums, and makes a perfect effects processor for guitar and vocals thanks to the XLR/jack combo connectors on the front (with phantom power supply).
Fully ready to go
Simply turn the MuseBox on, press the play button, pick your sound and start cracking. This all-in-one module for guitar, vocals, keyboards, effects and more comes with all the essential sounds for any performance. MuseBox contains software like Universons MusePlayer, Peavey ReValver HP, Wave Arts MasterVerb 4 and Trackplug 4, TrackPlug 4, ForeFront TruePianos Amber Lite, Camel Audio Camel Phatt and Camel Space, MuVoice by MuTech and many, many more. Thanks to a high-quality solid-state hard drive you can switch between sounds in an instant.
Intuitive, user-friendly controls
The MuseBox SoundFinder preset structure makes it easy to find the perfect patch, as you look for type (as you would on a traditional hardware synth) instead of plugins. What's more, you can also create your own sounds and effects with the powerful MusePlayer graphic interface by simply connecting a screen, mouse and keyboard to the VGA and USB ports. Further still, you can expand the MuseBox with new virtual instruments and effects thanks to its Compact Flash card reader.
