The Yamaha Live Custom Set 1 (with Black Shadow Sunburst finish) is a shell set consisting of a 22-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms and a 16-inch floor tom. This newest generation of the famous Oak Custom drum sets has been introduced as the Live Custom series. Produced in Yamaha's new high-tech factory, this set is meant to be seen and heard. As always, Yamaha did a lot of research before and during the development of this series, and their consultations with musicians, consumers and dealers has lead to the production of the Yamaha Live Custom.

Design

The name really speaks for itself. This Live Custom series was born to be played live, and play it can! No matter how many decibels are coming out of your guitarist's stack, the Live Custom can match it, thanks to the solid 100% oak shells. Oak is a wood type known for being sturdy, but also for providing a solid sound with enough lows to give you a warm, round tone.

Details

It's no news that Yamaha has always had a good eye for detail, and you can see that in every inch of this Live Custom series set. For example, the feet of the floor tom are extra sturdy thanks to a stronger vertical clamp, and the snare drum is equipped with a new strainer release. Moreover, the bass drum hooks are smaller and made of lighter material to help improve the overall sound. Finally, enjoy the great looks of this set, with its black nickel-plated hardware and attractive lacquer finish, so your set looks as good as it sounds.
