General
At first sight the STV-40S does not appear any different than other STV-40 models. The trained eye, however, can spot an important deviation. The STV-40S is constructed from solid steel, not aluminium!
Eurolite STV-40S lighting stand with T bar steel
The steel construction of the STV-40S has mainly advantages. The only disadvantage is its weight, as this model is about twice as heavy as the standard STV-40. On the upside, however, due to the extra weight the entire construction becomes more stable, as the centre of gravity is slightly lowered. This makes the STV-40S a more suitable choice if you intend to extend to lighting base to its full capacity.
Safety measures have been incorporated into the STV40S’s design. The maximum carrying capacity has been reduced to 18 kg (CE certified) and safety pins are featured, ensuring the stand can never collapse during use.

De keus is al vrij groot in statievenland bij Bax, maar met een telefoontje nog extra geholpen. Tjonge wat een superdegelijk ding deze statief! Zware kwaliteit met bijbehorend gewicht, maar dat heb je echt nodig als je zeker wilt zijn dat het staat en blijft staan! Aluminium is leuk voor in de keuken, geef mij maar staal!
Oh ja, die prijs....niet te filmen zo gunstig! Een AANRADER!

Fijn statief voor weinig geld. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding meer dan prima. Je krijgt precies wat je verwacht; een mooi en stevig statief waar je je lichten aan kunt hangen. Opzetten is binnen een mum van tijd gebeurd. Tip: koop er een flightbag bij om dit statief te vervoeren, dat bespaard een hoop gedoe en zorgt er ook nog eens voor dat je statief en auto/bus/... minder snel beschadigd raakt. Ziet er meteen ook een stuk professioneler uit.

onderste poten gaan een beetje stroef maar dit is redelijk handig: ze klappen niet terug tijdens het vastschroeven van de klem. verder precies wat je van een T-bar mag verwachten: hoog, stabiel, veilig en alle opties aanwezig.

Het in elkaar zetten is makkelijk, de hoogte is perfect en er kunnen zeker 4 lampen aan hangen.
Niet al te zwaar en uitstekend voor drive-in show.
Ik heb er met gemak een movinghead aan gehangen en geeft geen problemen. Ook gekocht op advies van Bax, beste advies kun je daar krijgen. Ook handig voor parren.
Ikzelf kan alle onderdelen dragen(13 jaar) en ook opzetten
enige nadeel:
- de onderste poten krijg ik moeilijk uit elkaar.
Vijf sterren waard en een echte aanrader!
