The Gretsch G9212 (Swamp Green) is a limited edition of the popular Honey Dipper resonator guitar. It features several unique characteristics, including a square neck instead of a round one, a weathered Swamp Green body finish, white bindings along the fingerboard and a vintage-style screened headstock graphic. Like the original Honey Dipper, the G9212 is equipped with a metal body with a powerful resonator cone. As this resonator guitar is only available in a highly limited number, we recommend that you order yours quickly!
The square neck of the G9212 Swamp Green
Fitted with a square neck, this Honey Dipper is meant for musicians who like to play their resonator sitting down with the instrument resting on their lap. After all, this playing style calls for certain alternative tunings that require the extra strength that a square neck provides. Square or round neck, the sound remains the same – the Honey Dipper produces a clear tone that carries remarkably far thanks to the metal body and the high-grade Ampli-Sonic cone, designed by Gretsch itself and made from nearly 100% pure aluminium. Use some fingerpicks and a slide to create that unmistakable blues or bluegrass sound!
