The Johnson JR-960E-AS is a guitar with a single cone and a steel sound box, a combination that provides that purebred, metallic blues sound. Not only does this beautifully finished instrument have a vintage blues look, its sound matches it perfectly. With powerful, clear highs, a sharp midrange and subdued bass tones, this guitar is perfect for classic blues licks and solos. The steel body also lets the notes reverberate wonderfully and that typical resonance also makes this guitar very suitable for slide playing. Moreover, you can not only play acoustic, but also plug into an amplifier thanks to the built-in singe coil pickup, including volume and tone controls on the top.
