TC Electronic Flashback X4 Delay & Looper stereo effects pedal

Take three TC Electronic Flashback Delay effects pedals, add a 40-second looper, tap tempo and MIDI functionality, and you get the Flashback X4 Delay & Looper! Switching between your three favourite delays is quick and easy thanks to the three footswitches that have built-in memories. In total, you get 12 top-quality delay effects plus four artist TonePrints that can be overwritten with new, free TonePrints. The Flashback X4 has stereo and MIDI inputs and outputs. With the MIDI connectors, you can synchronise the delay times with other MIDI-capable products like keyboards and synths or control MIDI presets using a MIDI pedal.

TC Electronic Flashback X4: three delay pedals in one

Despite its extensive possibilities, the Flashback X4 is easy to use. Choosing one of the twelve delay types or four pre-installed TonePrints is done using the delay selector knob. After that, you can adjust the speed of the effect using Delay Time, the number of repetitions using Feedback and the volume using Delay Level. You can save three of your favourite settings by holding down one of the footswitches (A, B or C) for a few seconds for easy recall later. Using the TAP footswitch, you can easily synchronise the delay speed with any music.

Fully-functional looper

By flicking a mini-switch, the X4 is transformed into a fully-functioning looper. The footswitches and TAP knob now become controls for Recording, Play/Pause, Play Once and Undo/Redo. Press Record and you have 40 seconds of recording time at your disposal with overdubbing. With the Play/Pause control, you can start and stop the loop, while Play Once does exactly what you'd expect it to - it plays the loop once! With the Undo/Redo control, it's easy erase and recall parts. You can adjust the level of the loop using the Looper Level knob.

TonePrint

With TonePrint, you can call upon the favourite settings of some of the world's greatest guitar players. Famous musicians like Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Metallica's Kirk Hammett and Kings of Leon's Matthew Followill have all saved their favourite Flashback Delay settings as a TonePrint. These and more can be easily downloaded from TC Electronic's website. You can load them to the pedal via USB or by 'beaming' them direct to your pedal using your smartphone and the TonePrint app.
