Fans of ribbon microphones will love the Woodpecker! It's a ribbon microphone with clear trebles that are comparable to those of dynamic microphones, which is unique for a ribbon microphone! No longer do you need to boost the trebles of your recordings with an equalizer, which increases the chances of noise in your signal.
Like all ribbon mics, the Woodpecker features a figure-8 pickup pattern. The Woodpecker is extremely quiet and can handle a maximum sound pressure of 114 dB. It has a highly natural sound and a boost around 400 Hz will provide your vocal and instrument recordings with a warm, rich sound.
This handmade microphone comes with a brass shock mount in a gorgeous cherry wood case.
