With the VR1 Voodoo Ribbon, sE Electronics are ushering in a new age! Until now, the only ribbon mic with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz was the expensive Rupert Neve. Now, sE have also succeeded in covering the frequency range. As such, this microphone is fit for recording pianos, guitars, basses and vocals, from which you'll get a beautiful, warm, vintage sound, especially when it comes to acoustic instruments. This vintage sound stems from a frequency boost in the low frequencies and upwards of 2,000 Hz, with a dip around the 10,000 Hz mark. The ribbon mike can be used in studio and on stage.

Prachtig ontworpen en gebouwde mike. Meteen afgelopen weekend opnames mee gemaakt. Gitaarcabinet met Sennheiser e906 en deze SE ribbon mike. Mooie combi, waarbij de SE hele mooie harmonische boventonen registreert. De roll-off is heel subtiel en niet scherp, waardoor het in de mix heel bruikbaar is. Vast ook mooi voor een piano. Kan hoge geluidsdruk aan. Fijne aanvulling voor elke microfooncollectie en onvergelijkbaar met alle andere typen microfoon.
