Years of continuous development of the original product have resulted in the Apollo 2 and many high profile recording engineers and studios (such as Abbey Road) have already found their way to this mic. This beautiful device can be used overhead in concert rooms or as a microphone for pianos, drums, orchestras and choirs. Because of the X-Y Blumlein configuration, the Apollo 2 excellently picks up spatial ambiance in stereo, which, agspain, is perfect for capturing large orchestras. An adapter cable to split the mic output into two XLR signals, a shock mount and a sturdy, aluminium flight case come included.
