General
The Istanbul Agop 20" Sultan Jazz Ride is designed for drummers who appreciate a warm, dark and complex character in their ride cymbal. Thanks to its thinner weight and wider bell, this cymbal has a noticeably lower pitch, whilst retaining excellent stick definition. The unique design, featuring a partially unlathed playing surface and an unlathed bell, produces a controlled, slightly darker sound than traditional models. This makes the Sultan Jazz Ride an excellent choice for subtlety and expression in jazz, fusion and acoustic styles. The trashy undertone and dynamic tonal variation give every stroke its own character.
