General
The 20-inch Turk Jazz Ride by Istanbul Agop is a ride cymbal that stands out for its thinner construction and strikingly wide bell shape. This produces a dynamic, dark and warm tone, with a pleasantly controlled ‘wash’ throughout. Thanks to the characteristic hammering technique without spinning, the Turk Jazz cymbals have an even drier, more complex and deeper tone. The modest attack and reduced volume make this ride an excellent choice for serious jazz drummers seeking a rich, refined sound with sufficient subtlety within an ensemble.
