General
The Istanbul Agop 22" Turk Flat Ride is renowned for its highly controlled sustain combined with a distinctly dry stick response. This ride cymbal owes its distinctive dark and complex tone to extensive hand-hammering and the complete absence of lathing – typical of the Custom Turk/Turk Jazz Series. This results in a cymbal that is particularly popular with jazz drummers and players seeking a subtle, refined sound. The 22-inch diameter offers plenty of dynamics and nuances, ideal for situations where detail and control are paramount.
