General
The Istanbul Agop 24" Special Edition Ride is a distinctive ride cymbal that stands out for its woody stick definition and dry overtones. Thanks to its deep and wide lathing, combined with a weight and profile tailored to jazz and fusion, it produces a clear, classic sound. The cymbal also offers plenty of wash without sacrificing control, making it surprisingly versatile. Whilst this ride performs at its best in jazz and fusion, it is equally at home across a wide range of musical styles. If you’re looking for a ride with a rich, vintage look and just the right balance between articulation and musicality, then this cymbal is well worth considering.
