General
The Giant Beat series was developed back in the 1960s. Back then, it was specially developed for the rapidly developing rock music. Now the series is back with the same sound characteristics. So too with this 19-inch model. Made of Paiste's own CuSn8 Bronze with a medium thin weight. The sound is deep, dark and full. The attack is woody, while the wash is wide, deep and full. The excellent, balanced response allows you to play ride patterns on it, but the hefty swelling sound also makes it suitable for crash accents. The cup flows smoothly into the cymbal top and has a strong, articulate sound. With this cymbal, you can get into any style of music.
