Paiste Masters 20-inch Thin ride

The Masters series consists of a collection of special, hand-made cymbals. For this, Paiste's own CuSn20 Traditional Bronze is used, which is machined by hand in the Swiss factory. For this 20-inch thin ride, this metal is processed into a thin disc. The result is a dark, soft, warm and deep sound and fast response. On this cymbal, your subtle ride patterns come through clearly, but you can also crash on it or even play with mallets. Indeed, the stick sound is very clear and is complemented by a warm, complex wash. This cymbal is excellent for all-round use, but especially when you choose musicality over volume.

Addition to the Masters

The thin rides were only added three years after the introduction of the Masters series. That's how long Paiste's designers searched for the right shape. The goal was to create a cymbal that combines many sounds, so you need a minimum number of cymbals for a very diverse sound. They certainly succeeded in that with the Masters Thin rides.

• Please note that it is normal for the cymbal surface of a Paiste Master cymbal to have bumps. The unusual appearance is due to the very extensive manufacturing process of these handmade cymbals. This process guarantees the unique sound of the Master series.
