Dubbed 'Monad' due to Carey's love for geometry, science and metaphysics, the Danny Carey Monad Dry Heavy Ride features a properly separated bell that comes with a Reflector finish and shapes a clear ping while the rest of the cymbal remains relatively quiet, which is perfect for complex patterns and mix-cutting accents. This high-end ride is made by hand from a Signature alloy in Paiste's Swiss factory.
