General

Ahead supplies revolutionary drumsticks! They feature an aluminium core and every Ahead drumstick, unlike regular wooden sticks, has exactly the same weight and balance. What's more, they last ten times longer!

Ahead 5ABS Studio drumsticks with alu-core:

The precision alloy guarantees minimal variations in weight and balance compared to wooden drumsticks, with variations in these being around 20 per cent. With these Ahead drumsticks, it is only 1 per cent! The built-in VRS (Vibration Control) system reduces hand fatigue. So you can play longer and maintain smoothness for faster drum playing. Also special about these Ahead 5ABS Studio drumsticks are their replaceable plastic sleeves, rings and tips.
