Part of the HHX Series, the 20" Sabian HHX Medium brilliant ride could be described as the odd one out. The brilliant finish makes the response surprisingly bright while the wash is as dark and complex as you'd expect from a real HHX cymbal. Meanwhile, the bell is also louder and higher-pitched for distinct accents, and when the edge is played, this ride delivers a broad crash that's more than able to poke its head out and over the rest of the band.
