The Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass is ideal for the hard-working musician who'd like the authentic sound of a Fender Jazz Bass with all the perks of a modern instrument. Its two Ceramic Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups can be used either passively or actively; when not activated, you get a clean, phat seventies bass tone. When the pickups are activated, this bass packs quite a punch. Using the mini switch, you can turn the tone controls into boost/cut to adjust the low, mid and high frequencies. The result is an impressive, classic Jazz Bass with that familiar sound, but with twice the intensity.
Fender Deluxe Active Jazz-Bass Natural with phat bridge
Fitted onto this Natural alder body is a HiMass bridge that boasts amazing resonance and sustain. The maple neck and has been bolted-on at four points and features a 38mm-wide string nut and a slender C-profile. Its bevelled heel fits seamlessly into the body pocket for impeccable string vibration transfer. The maple fretboard facilitates ultra-fast playing thanks to a 12-inch radius, and classic block inlay position markers are the icing on the cake.

Deze Fender doet eigenlijk alles wat je mag verwachten van een bas van deze kwaliteit en prijs.
De bas is wel vrij zwaar maar dat vertaald zich ook weer in een super sustain. Zowel in actieve als passieve modus geven de regelaars op de gitaar erg veel verschillende mogelijkheden in het geluidsspectrum.
De hals is mooi slank en prima afgewerkt en speelt makkelijk.
Deze bas nodigt al snel uit voor het betere slapwerk.
Klein minpuntje waren enkele kleine beschadigingen op de slagplaat (wat krasjes) maar dit is door Bax-Music prima opgelost.
De bas was prima afgesteld en kon na een korte inspectie zo uit de doos bespeeld worden.
Conclusie een top bas die de bassist veel mogelijkheden biedt.
