General

The first thing you'll probably notice about the 5-string Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass V is its colour, which is called Surf Pearl. This bass is designed for professional bassists who want that timeless Fender sound combined with all the perks of modern-day technology. Two Ceramic Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups pack quite a punch while maintaining authority in the low frequencies that are tight on the B string. You can make them active by flipping the mini switch, which makes the tone controls function as boost/cut. This gives the Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass V some extra oomph!

Fast neck with C-profile

Fender's HiMass bridge passes on the string's vibrations to the alder body, resulting in optimal sustain and resonance. Its comfortable C-profile maple neck is bolted on asymmetrically, and boasts an ultra-fast 12-inch fretboard radius and 20 medium Jumbo frets on a rosewood fretboard.

High-gloss body

On stage, the high-gloss finish of this unique bass really shines! Don't fret though—the neck remains smooth and fast thanks to a layer of polyurethane lacquer. The Fender Deluxe Active Bass in beach-ready Surf Pearl is ideal for bassists who perform both live and in the studio, and who love that classic Fender tone and style.
