Thanks to its deep contours and ergonomic shape. each of the 24 medium stainless steel frets on the birds eye maple neck offers a great feel and playability, whether you prefer to play while seated or standing up. Whatever your purpose, the Ibanez EHB1005MS is a trusty companion on any gig-filled road trip or during any studio recording session.
Bass Workshop EHB1005MS: Highly Versatile Multi-Scale Bass
Since this is a multi-scale model, the scale length measures 33 inches near the thinner strings and up to 35 inches near the thicker strings. This gives the low B string a tighter feel so you can more easily play complex rhythm parts. Next to fanned frets, another striking detail is the flat radius of close to 20 inches, which accommodates playing styles that include special techniques such as tapping. Two Bartolini BH2 pickups are joined by the active Vari-Mid 3-band EQ system and serve up a wide array of modern bass sounds.
