The Yamaha TRBX505 in translucent black is a 5-string electric bass guitar that sets itself apart with a powerful appearance and sound. The TRBX series stands out in many ways. Choose the voice that sounds best with your music style, for example, by making use of the 3-band equalizer, which is connected to an active tone circuit. No matter which tone you're using though, the active tone circuit ensures that your output levels will stay the same, which is especially helpful during live performances.
Outstanding Quality
The attractive translucent black body of this bass is fashioned from mahogany, which gives the Yamaha TRBX 505 an outstanding sound with a full, deep character. This kind of intonation blends seamlessly with the extraordinarily nuanced and punchy humbucker pickups. These Yamaha YGD pickups have Alnico V magnets on board and 4 poles per string. For a big dose of stability, the bass is also equipped with a 5-piece neck.

Ik speel al jaren op Ibanez, maar door enkele negatieve ervaringen toch maar overgestapt op deze Yamaha. Dat was in het begin wat wennen. Zeker door de andere vorm voelde het met de riem heel anders aan. Ook heb je bij Ibanez een groot klank verschil tussen de hoge en de lage snaren. Hier is dit meer egaal verdeelt, waardoor er je hetzelfde kunt spelen op verschillende plaatsen op de nek zonder klank verschil. Ondertussen ben ik de bass goed gewoon en blijven de andere vaak in het rek. Het is echt goede kwaliteit. Ook de actief-passief schakeling is heel handig.
De fabriekssnaren gaan niet zo lang mee, maar voor deze prijs kunnen we niet klagen.

Inderdaad lekker licht spelende basgitaar. Een bijzonder praktische functie is vooral de mogelijkheid te kunnen schakelen tussen actief en passief en daarnaast ook het batterij controle ledje. Het is me al voorgekomen dat mijn "actieve" bas stopte omdat de batterij leeg was... (stekker er vergeten uit te halen).
Naast de mooie afwerking geniet ik ook van de goede sound en dynamiek.
Echt een fijne aanwinst!

Ik heb deze bas nu een paar weken en ben er erg tevreden over.
Het is een zeer licht spelende basgitaar die heel netjes is afgewerkt.
Afstelling van de gitaar was bijna meteen goed.
Voor de prijs heb je echt een hele goede basgitaar voor beginner en gevorderde.
Heb het bij de "bekende grote" merken wel eens minder meegemaakt!
Aanrader deze bas!
