The Yamaha TRBX505 Translucent White is in many ways an irresistible instrument for the ambitious bassist. The elegant yet sturdy translucent white exterior already speaks volumes, and because this 5-string bass was developed with care, it makes a big impression with its active 3-band EQ and wide range of sounds. Even if you switch over to passive, you'll stay at the same level!
Bass with Detail and Punch
Along with the stable 5-part neck made of layers of maple and mahogany, the Yamaha TRBX 505 also has a mahogany body, guaranteeing a quality sound with deep yet clear character. The hardware is likewise exceptional, as the two Yamaha YGD humbucker pickups are equipped with Alnico V magnets and have 4 poles per string. In other words: your amplifier is going to receive a detailed, punchy sound like it's never experienced before.

Fijne bas met volle sound, goeie hardware, zeker meer compleet dan de Harley Benton B-550 die ik hiervoor ook met plezier heb bespeeld.
Blijft super in stemming staan, lagere actie.
Wat verder handig is, is de passive switch, daarmee krijg je toch nog een prima geluid welke je ook nog warmer of helderder maken met de Treble/Tone knop.
Handig voor als je batterij leeg is.
1 punt wat wel iets beter had gemogen, was de pickup knob, die gaat wel heel snel al naar een fel geluid, had iets meer overlap in mogen zitten wat mij betreft. Maar is wel zeer bruikbaar voor verschillende geluiden.
Zeker tevreden mee!
