General

If you're hunting for an affordable electric bass, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to compromise on quality. In the Ibanez TMB100M, you get outstanding performance that's worth every penny, and maybe even more. The poplar body has been fitted with a maple neck to produce a full and transparent sound that can be tweaked and applied to any playing style, no matter what genre your band falls into, and this multi-dimensional tone is backed up by a pair of Dynamix pickups. So, at the neck, you get precision-bass-style single-coil sound that's balanced out by a jazz-bass-style single-coil at the bridge and the result can be tweaked with ease using the active tone controls. Since playability is just as essential, you get the snug comfort of a TMB4 neck combined with an ergonomic body shape, completing a four-string bass that can capably serve as a solid learning tool as well as a stage stormer.
