Rickenbacker 4003: Construction

This beautiful bass guitar is made of walnut, and has a set-through maple neck with 20 frets on a maple fretboard. The headstock brandishes the characteristic Rickenbacker bent triangle and Rickenbacker logo. Thanks to the Schaller Deluxe tuners, this Rickenbacker retains its tuning excellently.

Electronics

The Rickenbacker 4003 Walnut features two single-coil pickups for a wide tonal range. Its Vintage Tone switch provides extra high end from the bridge pickup, ensuring a nice crisp sound that is perfect for funky bass players. Additionally, you can use four controls: two tone knobs and two volume controls (treble and bass). What's more, the guitar has two outputs: a mono output for standard use, and a stereo Rick-O-Sound output. These outputs cannot be used simultaneously. The Rick-O-Sound output allows you to send the sound of the two pickups separately to two different amplifiers or effects pedals via a Y-cable (not included). This guitar comes with a case.
